Course Overview
This self-paced course will provide telecommunications professionals with the insights they need to understand the multifaceted relationship between mobile technologies and climate change. The course discusses how the mobile industry is reducing its impact on climate change and enabling climate action in other sectors, as well as how other stakeholders can facilitate climate action across the mobile ecosystem.
By bridging mobile technology and environmental concerns, professionals are empowered to develop strategies, products, and services that promote sustainability while mitigating environmental impact. Who Is This Course for?
This course provides a holistic understanding of leveraging mobile technologies for climate action across organizational functions. The course fosters a cross-functional mindset and is suitable for people in different areas of the industry, including:

Course Structure and Study Time
The course consists of four sessions, and each session includes a knowledge check. There will be a final assignment to submit.
It should not take you more than two to three hours of study time per week to complete the course in four weeks, or quicker if you devote more time per week. You will have access to the course for 12 months.
Course Completion Certificate
To qualify for a course completion certificate, you will need to:
- view the four course sessions;
- correctly answer all the questions in the knowledge checks you will find at the end of the sessions (you have unlimited attempts to pass the knowledge checks);
- submit four assignments, which will need to be approved by the GSMA; and
