Course Overview

This one-day course provide attendees with a full overview of the development of roaming wholesale billing.

With the rise of roaming IoT devices and the advancement of 5G SA roaming, a new wholesale billing standard has been introduced: BCE. This training provides a solid foundation on BCE, helping participants assess whether to integrate it into their wholesale billing processes.

The course will be delivered over Microsoft Teams.

Key Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the BCE Framework
  • Apply BCE in Commercial Contexts – understand the various BCE IOT Wholesale Models
  • Understand how to adapt the roaming contracts and the RAEX documents
  • Understand the differences between the various BCE Reports (UDR, USR, BSR, DDR)
  • Gain practical insight into the BCE testing process, required documents, toolkit usage, and how to handle rejects and disputes
  • Evaluate Implementation Options – develop BCE in-house or have it outsourced

Milja Hofman
Roaming Specialist and Owner, Roamingwise

Having twenty-three years of international roaming experience, Milja Hofman started her career with Telfort in The Netherlands as TADIG Tester and Product Manager International Roaming. After spending six years at the Data and Financial Clearing House MACH (now TOMIA) in Luxembourg, Milja started her own company Roamingwise in which she combines her enthusiasm for roaming, and training and consultancy. Her experience makes that Milja has a broad roaming knowledge which she uses in her current trainings and consultancy assignments.

Milja closely follows the GSMA working groups and teaches the GSMA standards. With Roamingwise Milja has supported many satisfied customers in the past thirteen years.
