Sustainable Governance in Telco: ESG, Privacy and Responsible AI

Overview

This dynamic 5-week course empowers employees of mobile network operators and their supply chain partners to develop governance principles across ESG, AI and Privacy. Participants will learn to enhance sustainability performance, understand the impact of the mobile sector on the SDGs, mitigate risks, seize opportunities, manage reputation and brand, embed privacy by design, and ensure that AI is strategically considered, ethically managed and responsibly embedded in operations.

Format and Duration

• Self-paced online modules: Learn at your own pace on the GSMA Advance learning platform.
• Live seminars: Engage with GSMA experts in interactive, live online seminar sessions.
• Coursework: Apply your knowledge through submitted assignments.

Although the course is designed to be completed in five weeks, you will have three months within which to complete it and receive your certificate.

• Climate Change and the Mobile Industry
• Privacy Essentials for the Mobile Ecosystem
• Introduction to Responsible Artificial Intelligence

Who Is This for?

This accreditation has been designed to appeal to a broad range of professionals, not only in the mobile and telecom industry, but also in connected industries. It will be particularly beneficial for those who work in, or with, roles involved in governance, AI, ESG, privacy, regulation and strategy. No previous knowledge in the topics is required, although learners may find it beneficial to do some pre-reading of GSMA documents in this area.
